DiveTracker Sport Receiver (DST-RX)
The DiveTracker Sport Receiver (DTS-RX) is a handheld underwater navigation device used by divers to locate a DiveTracker Sport transmitter marking a boat, anchor line, buddy, or other underwater reference point. The receiver guides the diver toward the transmitter by detecting acoustic signals and indicating the strongest direction to travel.
Range modes:
LO: Close range (under 200 ft)
HI: Standard range (200–2000 ft)
- Housing: Cylindrical PVC body
- Controls: Magnetic thumb-wheel switch for power and range selection
- Typical detection range: 1,000–2,000 ft in normal mode
- Extended range: 2,000–4,000 ft with internal extended-range switch enabled
- Navigation display: 9–10 segment LED bar graph with distance scale indicating direction and signal strength
- Signal tracking: Sweep the unit left to right like a flashlight to find the strongest signal
- Power: 9V alkaline battery, approximately 6 hours continuous operation
- Depth rating: 1,000 ft (305 m)
