The Ropeless Fisher™ – Coastal is a complete broadcast-release starter system designed for pot trap fishing in low to medium currents and nearshore or inshore environments. By eliminating traditional surface buoys and vertical lines, it stores rope and floats safely on the seafloor with your traps until retrieval. When you're ready to haul, an acoustic sonar signal activates the release mechanism, sending your floats and rope to the surface on demand—improving efficiency while reducing risk to gear and marine life.
