AquaMap™ is a complete subsea surveying system that makes underwater mapping fast, precise, and repeatable. State-of-the-art acoustic technology eliminates the need for survey lines and allows repeatable positioning with sub-meter accuracy even in difficult environments. Custom defined observation recording screens associate diver observations and sensor readings with position data. The system’s position error indicator and an uninterrupted electronic data chain from planning through dive execution and post mission data analysis provide stringent quality control. Survey and post-processing time is drastically reduced. AquaMap is easy to use and generates robust data. Since its introduction in 1995, AquaMap™ has been adopted by a multitude of large and small government and commercial organizations. These include the USGS and EPA in the Unites States, NIWA in New Zealand, DPIF in Australia, commercial companies such as Envirotech Diving and Net Systems, research organizations such as Battelle Memorial Institute etc. AquaMap is the quasi standard for electronic diver based survey work.
