The FrogEye camera is optimized for long stand-off reconnaissance for special forces. The camera was first developed for SOCOM through a requirement for a
rugged digital camera. Since, the FrogEye has gone through various
changes and has documented use in Iraq & Afghanistan.
The SharkEye camera is optimized for use of its autonomous mode. The
camera was first developed for a NOAA project called New Millennium
Observatory Network (NEMO NET). It has since been used by various
scientists, biologists, and robot manufacturers. It comes depth rated
from 100 meters up to 6000 meters.
