STM-3
The STM-3 is a surface station designed to save space yet still offer all the tracking abilities you would need. It has a splash-proof housing so that it can be used where wet weather is expected. Also, it has internal batteries, that will last on average 6 hours, with an external power hookup. The STM-3 also comes with 15 meter sonar transducer cables. This configuration has a nominal range of 500 meters.
STM-3V
This verison of the STM-3 has the exact same as the standard version. However, pict ure annotation is available through an RC Jack on the STM-3V. It has a built-in frame grabber; thus, allowing this unit to run all its accessories off one single cable to the PC.
STM-3H
The STM-3H is a surface station designed to have a longer internal battery life as well as extended range. This surface station has everything that the STM-3 has with additional hardware. The STM-3H has the high-powered module, which extends its nominal range to 1000 meters. It also has a longer internal battery life, which on average is 12 hours. The sonar transducer cables are 30 meters. It, too, has the RC JACK for picture annotation. The STM-3H is just over twice as big as the STM-3, but theN the STM-3 is quite small to begin with.
