Matthew Crenshaw joined Desert Star Systems in the fall of 2008 as a software engineer. Matthew started his engineering education on his own while still in his teenage years. He is also an experienced diver. Consequently, his learning curve is fast, and he helped complete the software for the NetTrack system within weeks of joining the company. Matthew is currently concentrating on the design of PC application software for Desert Star Systems. As a shareholder of Desert Star Systems, Matthew is also one of the three managers of the corporation.

With more than 20 different products that are manufactured by Desert Star Systems, Mike is tasked with inspecting and testing everything that comes off the production floor. His goal is to make sure that everything has been fully inspected and system tested mimicking the customer's application/use to confirm that the system is fully functional prior to shipping. If you have an Quality Control issues or issues with an older system that is no longer functioning feel free to email Mike with your concerns.

Andrew Goldstein was formerly the lead software developer for the past dozen years. Andrew left Desert Star in early 2009 to pursue a similar job with VideoRay. On very complex software tasks, he still offers his assistance.

Gregg Holtmeier used to perform the mechanical engineering on our systems. Since Gregg's departure, Anthony Sandoval has been tasked with the mechanical engineering that Gregg used to do. Gregg still offers support when needed.

Adam Harvey - Partner
Adam Harvey became Desert Star System's first employee when he joined the company in 1995. Serving as the production manager, he assured product delivery and established the company's original production and QC procedures. Adam left active employment in August 2006, after training Jesse Harkness to assume the role of production manager.

Tony Sandoval, Product Designer. Hired at an early age, he has become an expert in efficiently engineering new products using both the company’s electronics and mechanics design libraries and his own Solidworks models. Tony also participates in many field tests, such as in this picture where he is in-water testing the ergonomics of a diver alert device (small cylinder clipped to his B/C). His designes include the TLT-3/32 miniature transponder, the DS-3 diver station, the MCU-5 charger station, the FRF-1 RF modem, mechanical designs for SeaTag devices and more.
